Use these instructions and links to forms to register for IAD's 3 institutes: Best Practices Institute (BPI), Fall Symposium (FS) or Summer Institute on Academic Diversity (SIAD). There are 2 steps to registration. Both steps must be completed in full to reserve spaces. Space is available on a first come, first served basis.

Please print and fax or mail your completed registration forms after downloading them.

Full-time Educator (FTE) Scholarship:

The IAD staff are passionate about making differentiated instruction philosophy and pedagogy both meaningful and accessible to educators and educational leaders. We also realize that current economic contexts have made former district professional development funds unavailable, placing the burden of conference fees on teachers. Since most of our staff are former public educators, we understand that money is often unavailable when we most want to grow as professionals!

With this in mind, we offer 5 partial scholarships per event towards our registration fees:

You may reapply for each event. Scholarship recipients are typically notified 1 week after the deadline. Also, recipients must submit registration and payment on time or they forfeit the scholarship.

Application Requirements:

  1. FTE Scholarship Application form (with IAD registration forms)
  2. A 500 or less word essay, describing why you feel you qualify for the scholarship; and, if granted, what you will do to ensure the information you gain through the event/ institute is applied to your classroom and school.
  3. Signed Differentiated Lesson Plan Agreement indicating that, if you receive the scholarship, you will a) provide 1 differentiated lesson plan no later than 1 month following the institute/event, and b) grant IAD permission to post it to its website, with comments for instructional purposes. The lesson plan must include:

The Differentiated Lesson Plan Agreement is attached to the application form. You may submit or email your lesson plan as a Word document.

Note: Please register as an individual (not a group) if applying for the FTE scholarship.
